An after-school tutoring program for girls eager to succeed. Our current local service project is WEEKdays (Women Encouraging Excellence in Kids) which is an after school tutorial and homework program held from September to June. It involves young women recruited from the local universities and colleges who are trained to tutor and provide homework support for inner-city girls in high school who are in jeopardy of not graduating or dropping out. The university women also serve as role models for the inner-city girls.
